MARIJUANA DISPENSARY IN KEYSTONE APPEAL DENIED October 14, 2021 TO: KCL Members RE: Marijuana Dispensary Appeal Denied The appeal of the marijuana dispensary in Keystone was denied by the County Commissioners by a 2-1 vote this afternoon. Commissioners Pogue and Blanchard opposed the appeal and Commissioner Lawrence supported granting the appeal. There was strong community support for the decision. Over 150 community emails were received by the Commissioners opposing the dispensary license. Over 50 community members showed up for the appeal hearing. Special KCL thanks goes out to the residents of Loveland Pass Village and Sonne PUD who have strongly opposed this dispensary and spoke from the heart about their reasons to the Commissioners. One community member spoke in favor of the dispensary. The KCL Board heard the voices of the community and strongly opposed approval of the Marijuana License.
